Apparently this whole swine flu thing has become a big deal here in north Texas. Fort Worth ISD (where I used to teach) has cancelled school until May 11 (began Apr 29), and we've been counseled to listen for announcements of our campus closing. I'm not sure how we'd recover from shutting down campus right before finals. Apparently there haven't been any reported cases here in Denton, so we'll see what happens.
Makes me grateful I've got a loaded 72 hour kit and a few things in the cupboard!

I wonder if that emergency book I made for Christmas has anything on Swine Flu epidemic?
There is now at least one confirmed case and three probable cases. However the email from the university did not indicate if these cases were students or in Denton.
